Hamid-ul-Haq Khalil

Hamid ul Haq (Urduحامدالحق‎; born 1 August 1964) is Pakistani politician who is currently a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, belonging to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Early life and education

Haq was born on 1 August 1964.[1]
He holds BSc degree in civil engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar in 1988.[2]

Political career

Haq first ran for the seat of Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a candidiate of PTI from constituency PK-5 in 2002 general elections but was unsuccessful and secured only 1,443 votes.[3][4]
He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan for the first time in 2013 general elections from NA-2 (Peshawar-II) as a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.[
